Email, Password and Account Help in Ayrshire

Safe help with email, passwords, Outlook, Gmail, two-factor prompts and account setup for Ayrshire homes and small businesses.

Quoted first, every time

Every job is quoted up front, priced on skill and complexity — never hourly. Remote work starts from £45. If I cannot fix it, you do not pay.

Email and account problems are stressful because they block everything else: bills, banking messages, family photos, work files, printer setup and phone backups. I help you get back in safely without guessing, panicking or handing control to the wrong person.

I can help remotely when the device still gets online, or visit if the problem is tangled up with a new phone, laptop, router or printer. The aim is to recover access where possible, secure the account properly and leave you with plain-English notes so it does not immediately happen again.

Ready to get it fixed?

Send the problem in plain English. I will reply with the sensible next step and a clear quote before anything is booked.

What to know first

Why this happens, and what I check first

Plain-English notes to help you decide whether to try one quick check, book help, or stop spending money on the wrong fix.

01

The most common issue is not a dramatic hack. It is an old password, a forgotten recovery email, a phone number that changed, or two-factor approval going to a device nobody uses anymore. The fix is careful recovery and cleanup, not random password attempts.

02

If an account may have been compromised, the order matters: secure the email first, check recovery details, sign out unknown devices, change passwords, then check connected accounts. Doing those steps in the wrong order can lock you out again.

03

I will also tell you when something cannot be recovered safely. Some accounts need provider checks, proof of ownership or waiting periods. I can guide that process, but I will not promise magic access where the provider has locked it down.

Straight answers

Questions people actually ask about this

No jargon and no vague promises. If something is not here, ask and I will give you a straight answer.

Can you recover any email account?

No. I can guide recovery and fix many setup problems, but final account recovery depends on the provider and the recovery details attached to the account.

Can you help with two-factor authentication?

Yes. I can help set it up, move it to a new phone where possible, or work through recovery options if codes are going to the wrong place.

Is this suitable after a scam call?

Yes. If a scammer may have accessed email or accounts, I can help secure the account and check the device. For urgent scam worries, the scam-call page is the best starting point.

What if I genuinely cannot afford this?

The main service is paid now, but a small number of free jobs are still kept aside each month for people who genuinely cannot afford repair.

Free help is by prior agreement only, never retrospectively. If cost is the real barrier, say that clearly in your first message before any work is quoted, booked or started.

It is reserved for pensioners on fixed incomes, disabled people, unemployed people, carers and low-income households. It is not a way of asking for a discount after the fact.
